FOOD SAFETY UPDATE: Taylor Farms Recalls Diced Yellow Onions Due to Salmonella
This update does not apply to any Markon First Crop, Ready-Set-Serve, or Markon Essentials products.
Taylor Farms California Foodservice, Inc, of Salinas, CA is recalling Yellow Diced Onions 3/8" 4/5# due to potential contamination with Salmonella. The recall was triggered after the product tested positive for Salmonella in a sample taken by a customer. Affected customers have already been identified and contacted.
This recall does not apply to any other Taylor Farms products or brands. No Markon products are included in this recall nor did Markon purchase any of the implicated packer label products. Please remember to physically check your inventory to ensure none of the affected products are in your warehouse.
