Siga Logistics of Morelos, Mexico is voluntarily recalling 15,000 “1lb” bags of fresh conventional basil sold to select wholesalers. Siga Logistics was notified by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of an ongoing Cyclospora outbreak investigation and requested collaboration to initiate this recall. The recalled products were distributed for sale in plastics bags with the following labels and markings:

No Markon orders are affected by this recall, please remember to check for any purchases outside Markon.

This voluntary recall does not affect any other products sold by SIGA LOGISTICS. The FDA continues to investigate the source of the issue.

Consumers who believe that they are in possession of any of the above products affected by this voluntary recall should dispose of the product.
