FOOD SAFETY UPDATE: SIGA LOGISTICS RECALLS FRESH

This update does not apply to any Markon First Crop, Ready-Set-Serve, or Markon Essentials products.

Siga Logistics of Morelos, Mexico is voluntarily recalling 15,000 “1lb” bags of fresh conventional basil sold to select wholesalers. Siga Logistics was notified by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of an ongoing Cyclospora outbreak investigation and requested collaboration to initiate this recall. The recalled products were distributed for sale in plastics bags with the following labels and markings:

This voluntary recall does not affect any other products sold by SIGA LOGISTICS. The FDA continues to investigate the source of the issue.
