The Oxnard, California growing region is expecting another series of rain storms starting on the evening of Friday, January 11, and continuing off and on through Wednesday, January 16. In total, roughly 4.5 inches of rain may be recorded and will certainly cause poor field and harvesting conditions for area crops that include:

• Celery
• Cilantro
• Parsley
• Strawberries

Markon inspectors will be monitoring supplies following these storm systems and will update further as needed.
