Markon inspectors have observed significant improvements in RSS iceberg and romaine-based salad items over the past week. Sporadic issues such as core material and minor discoloration are still present in some packs, but total defect percentages are low and shelf-life potential has stabilized. We are excited to report pack-out quality as being some of the best so far this summer, as the frequency and duration of above-average temperatures have waned. Quality is also benefitting from cooler nighttime temperatures. 

Effective immediately, the attached quality alert flyer will no longer be implemented in RSS iceberg and romaine-based salad items.
