FROM THE FIELDS: Rain in the Arizona/California Desert Regions

March 07, 2016

A passing cold front is expected to bring rain showers and thunderstorms to the Arizona/California desert growing regions late this afternoon through tomorrow morning, Tuesday, March 8. Winds as strong as 50 MPH are also expected, followed by cooler-than-normal weather. Temperatures will dip into 60s and 70s over the next several days. Defects such as bottom rot, mildew, and dirt (caused by strong winds) are expected to increase due to these conditions.

Markon inspectors will monitor conditions and update with further information as it becomes available.
