FROM THE FIELDS: Light Showers in the Desert Growing Region

Very light showers moved through the desert growing regions last night with up to .08” falling in some areas. No harvest delays are expected. This low pressure system will bring a systematic cooling over the next several days with temperatures falling into the low to mid 70’s, no lettuce ice is expected.
Current forecasts show a 20% chance of rain tonight and tomorrow, February 13 and 14, with up to .10” expected. We will report back with further updates.
