FROM THE FIELDS: Iceberg Lettuce Quality

Markon First Crop (MFC) Premium Lettuce is sporadically available; Markon Best Available is being substituted as needed.
Favorable weather and easing demand has allowed iceberg lettuce yields to increase significantly this week. Quality is improving and more fields are meeting MFC Premium 24ct Liner specifications.
Supplies will be sufficient to cover the anticipated increase in demand from the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday. Markon inspectors will continue to monitor supplies and update further as needed.
