FROM THE FIELDS: Continued Widespread Lettuce Ice in the Desert Growing Regions

For the second consecutive day, the Arizona/California desert growing regions have experienced freezing conditions, causing two to three hour harvest delays. Temperatures continue to dip into the low to mid-30 degrees. The potential for lettuce ice continues through Monday, February 11, with warmer conditions expected by mid-week.
