FOOD SAFETY UPDATE: Satur Farms Recalls Baby Spinach and Mesclun

This update does not apply to any Markon First Crop, Ready-Set-Serve, or Markon Essentials products.

Satur Farms, of Cutchogue, NY is recalling Baby Spinach and Mesclun due to potential contamination with Salmonella. The recall was issued after routine sampling by the Florida Department of Agriculture and New York State Department of Agriculture. The affected products were packed in plastic clamshell containers with the Satur Farms brand name and sealed poly food service bags.

The following products and lots are implicated in this recall:

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
