FOOD SAFETY UPDATE: Osage Gardens Inc Recalls Micro Greens due to Salmonella

Osage Gardens Inc. of Denver, CO is recalling Micro Greens due to Salmonella. The recalled product is Organic 2 oz Micro Greens packed in clear plastic clamshells with the UPC Code 709376615008 and Julian codes from 266 to 279. The affected products were distributed to Whole Foods stores in Colorado and Kansas. The recall was a result of routine sampling by the FDA which yielded a positive for the bacteria.

 

There have been no reported illnesses associated with these products at this time.

 

No Markon products are included in this recall nor did Markon purchase any of the implicated items from Osage Gardens. Please remember to physically check your inventory to ensure none of the affected products are in your warehouse.
