FOOD SAFETY UPDATE: Mann Packing Recalls Organic Vegetable Trays Due to Undeclared Allergens
This update does not apply to any Markon First Crop, Ready-Set-Serve, or Markon Essentials products.
Mann Packing of Salinas, California, is recalling organic vegetable tray’s with creamy ranch dressing dip due to undeclared allergens. The product contains egg, milk and soy which are not identified ingredients on the product label. The recalled product has a Best If Used By date of August 11, 2016 and an incorrect UPC 21130 98428.
The affected products were distributed to retail locations including Albertsons, ACME, Carrs, Haggen, Pavilions, Pak ‘N Save, Safeway, Shaw’s, Star Market, Tom Thumb and Vons stores in the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Vermont and Washington.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with these products at this time.
No Markon products are included in this recall nor did Markon purchase any of the implicated items from Mann Packing. Please remember to physically check your inventory to ensure none of the affected products are in your warehouse.
