FOOD SAFETY UPDATE: FRESH TASTE PRODUCE LTD RECALLS SALAD KITS DUE TO LISTERIA
This update does not apply to any Markon First Crop, Ready-Set-Serve, or Markon Essentials products.
Fresh Taste Produce Ltd. of Toronto, Ontario, Canada is recalling Eat Smart brand 794 G (28 OZ) Sweet Kale Vegetable Salad Bag Kit due to Listeria monocytogenes. The recall was issued after routine sampling by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) resulted in a positive test. Affected products were distributed to retail establishments in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec with the below UPC and product codes.
