FOOD SAFETY UPDATE: Fresh Express Recalls Salad Due to Undeclared Allergens

This update does not apply to any Markon First Crop, Ready-Set-Serve, or Markon Essentials products.

 

Fresh Express of Orlando, Florida, is recalling 480 cases of 11 oz. Fresh Express American Salad due to undeclared allergens. The product may contain Caesar Salad condiment packets with undeclared allergens including egg, milk, wheat, and anchovy which are not identified ingredients on the product label. The recalled product has a Product Code of G264A12A and Use-By Date of October 5.

 

The affected products were distributed to retail locations primarily in southern U.S. States.

 

There have been no reported illnesses associated with these products at this time.

 

No Markon products are included in this recall nor did Markon purchase any of the implicated items from Fresh Express. Please remember to physically check your inventory to ensure none of the affected products are in your warehouse.
