FOOD SAFETY UPDATE: Enoki Mushrooms Recalled Due to Potential Listeria monocytogenes

Three separate firms are recalling Enoki Mushrooms because may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Concord Farms is recalling Enoki Mushrooms grown in Korea. They were distributed to retail stores in California.

Marquis Worldwide Specialty Inc. is recalling organic Enoki Mushrooms. They were distributed nationwide in the United States.

Rainfield Marketing Group is recalling Enoki Mushrooms grown in Korea. They were distributed to CA, MD, and TX through produce distributors or wholesalers to retail stores nationwide.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with these recalls. Markon will update members as more information becomes available by the US Food and Drug Administration.
