FOOD SAFETY UPDATE: Del Monte Vegetable Trays Pose Potential Health Risk of Cyclospora

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), the Minnesota Department of Health and local health departments are investigating an increase of Cyclospora infections that may be linked to Del Monte vegetable trays sold at Kwik Trip locations in these states. Additional retail locations may be affected, more details on distribution are pending.

What we know:

  • 11 ill people in Wisconsin and three in Minnesota have reported purchasing a vegetable tray from a Kwik Trip location
  • Kwik Trip sold Del Monte vegetable trays at those locations that contained broccoli cauliflower, carrots, and dill dip
    • These products may have been sold at other retail locations
    • More details on distribution are still pending
  • Consumers are advised to not eat the following products:
    • Del Monte Vegetable Tray (containing broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and dill dip) 6 oz.
    • Del Monte Vegetable Tray (containing broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and dill dip) 12 oz.
