FOOD SAFETY UPDATE: ChloroFields Recalls Asian Microgreens Due to Salmonella

This update does not apply to any Markon First Crop, Ready-Set-Serve, or Markon Essentials products.

ChloroFields of Lawrence, Kansas is recalling 20 cases of Asian Microgreens due to potential contamination with Salmonella. The product is packed in a 1.5 oz clamshell labeled Asian Mix Microgreens with a sticker at the bottom of the container bearing the sell by date of 03/26/17; UPC 853763007096. The affected products were distributed in Colorado, Kansas and Missouri.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with these products at this time.

No Markon products are included in this recall nor did Markon purchase any of the implicated items from ChloroFields. Please remember to physically check your inventory to ensure none of the affected products are in your warehouse.
