Purchasing Director
Matt Collins spent many summers driving forklifts in California’s San Joaquin Valley before attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he obtained his degree in Agricultural Business. Markon was his first job out of college, beginning as a Quality Assurance Inspector where he walked the fields, performed cuttings, and shot Live from the Fields videos. Since then he’s moved up to Customer Service Representative, Product Manager, and now serves as Markon’s Co-Director of Purchasing. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and growing family, riding bicycles and motorcyles, and making his own wine.
I am inspired by the increased health benefits that fruits and vegetables provide. I enjoy helping to provide children with daily access to healthier lunch options such as through the Salad Bars to Schools Campaign.
