“Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be a farmer. I wanted to work outside in nature and make things grow. Although I didn’t achieve my dream of being a farmer, I did find my way into agriculture another way…by working for Markon. My experience at Markon over the past 30 years has been very rewarding because I know I play a part in providing people with healthy fruits and vegetables. There’s something gratifying about eating fresh produce—it reminds you how we are all part of the bigger picture within Mother Nature and what she provides for us every day.”
