Chef Bud Andersen, Ben E. Keith Foods
Chef Bud Andersen is the Chef Consultant for Ben E. Keith Foods’ West Texas Division in Amarillo, Texas. He supports regional restaurants in the areas of concept development, new menu items, staff training and hiring, food costs, inventory control, and overall profitability.
His cooking style marries different flavor profiles by combining heat with sweet. Drawing much inspiration from Chef Thomas Keller of The French Laundry, Chef Bud uses as many simple, fresh ingredients as possible to create complex flavor blends. Markon First Crop and Ready-Set-Serve products are featured prominently in his many recipes for Ben E. Keith customers.
In addition to being the executive chef at many regional restaurants, Chef Bud has hosted several television shows. His most recent program is Back to the Table with Chef Bud; he also appears weekly on Good Life, Good Food with Chef Bud.
