Markon Live from the Fields, Weekend Frost in the Desert Growing Region, January 14, 2012, Yuma, AZ

John Galvez, Markon's quality assurance director, reports live from Yuma, Arizona where extremely cold temperatures were recorded over the weekend of January 12 and 13. Severe frost was reported in all regions and quality will be affected in most crops over the next several weeks. Markon inspectors will continue to monitor the situation and work with suppliers to ensure the best available lots for Markon orders.
