Matt Collins, a Markon inspector, reports live from Coachella, California in the final video of our three-part series on epidermal peel. In this video, Matt shows examples of epidermal blistering and peeling due to intermittent frost and its effects on romaine and other lettuce crops. The desert region is expecting more significant freezing temperatures during the weekend of January 12- 13 that may prolong quality issues. Markon field inspectors will continue to monitor fields and update as needed.
