John Galvez, Markon's quality assurance director, reports live from Yuma, Arizona, where overnight temperatures dipped into the low 30s. The frost was not as severe as originally anticipated, but harvesting crews were on standby for as many as four hours before production could begin. More frost is possible tomorrow; Markon inspectors will monitor fields closely for frost-related defects that may appear over the next several days.
