LIVE FROM THE FIELDS: Santa Maria Strawberries

Cold, overcast days throughout April have caused tight supplies and kept berries from ripening at their normal rate. Markon suppliers are covering all Markon orders, including the increased demand for Mother’s Day. Size and quality are very good apart from some white shoulders/white tips; this will improve by next week thanks to warmer weather. Markon inspectors will continue monitoring quality and update further as needed.
