Receiving Inspecting:
Look for yuca roots that are free of cracks and exhibit white flesh. Avoid roots with yellow flesh.
Storage Handling:

- 85-95% relative humidity
Shelf-Life:
30 days.
Troubleshooting:
Cracked skin and yellow flesh are signs of age.
Gray discoloration and internal streaking indicate chill injury. Store properly.
Usage Ideas:
- Mash boiled yucca and roasted garlic; serve with roasted pork and black beans.
- Chop yucca into French fry strips; deep fry and serve with jalapeno mayonnaise.
