Troubleshooting:
Dark spots on skin, darker overall color, and mold may indicate decay caused by age, or from inconsistent temperature during storage.
Usage Ideas:
- Mix thinly sliced lotus root, cucumbers, and ahi tuna; mix with mayonnaise and wasabi.
- Bake lacey lotus root slices until crisp; garnish sushi platters, stir-fries, and upscale Asian entrées.
