“I have worked for LoBue Brothers for about eight years. I started out on the night cleanup crew, sanitizing the equipment lines and processing areas to ensure they were clean and ready to use the following day when they ran fruit. Eventually, I became the assistant supervisor of the sanitation department at our Exeter facility. I began to learn other jobs as well, helping our receiving department, unloading fruit from the fields, and ensuring that traceability and documentation were correct and reported properly. A few years went by and I ended up going to work in the shipping department at night, taking over the night clerk position. My responsibilities included managing the dock and dock employees as well as maintaining a high standard of quality control and working with our pallet tagging system that gives us complete traceability of all the citrus we produce. As my abilities expanded, I was promoted to Sales and Production Coordinator, where it is my job to make sure all of our customers’ needs are met and our product is processed in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. I like the work I do, and I look forward to continuing to expand my horizons and excelling at producing a quality product.”
