"Growing up in Eastern Canada in a small fishing and coal mining town, lobsters, salads, and blueberry pie were summer classics. The lobsters were plentiful, salads were washed and assembled daily, and the blueberries from Nova Scotia were the sweetest. I loved picking blueberries with my dad and then making homemade jam―if we didn’t eat them all on the walk home. My parents taught me the value of healthy fresh food from a very early age. Since then, I have always had a passion for food, health, and wellness. This passion led me to a degree in Food Science, and a career with Taylor Farms that began 15 years ago. I’ve worked in the fields, on the production lines, and as the account rep for Markon Cooperative. I understand the hard work and dedication that goes into delivering safe, healthy, fresh produce to our customers and consumers. I am so grateful and happy to be part of it!”
