"At the very early age of 14 I started in the trucking business. After a few years of expanding my knowledge, I was offered a supervisor and dispatching position in downtown Toronto. My next position started my passion for produce. I was in charge of 15 trucks and brokered produce from California, Florida, and Texas back to Ontario and Montreal. I dove in head first. That job changed every day and kept me on my toes. Learning about all of the different growing regions and products was very exciting.
I learned about Gordon Food Service and Markon through trucking. I knew right away in my dealings with both companies that this was the next place I wanted to be. My current position is Quality Assurance at Gordon Food Service Ontario. This company cares so much about people and high-quality products, that I’ve never looked back."
