Meet Chef Michael Showers
Michael Showers has over 20 years in the food and beverage industry and is currently the Fresh Seafood Specialist and Corporate Chef for Nicholas & Company. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), he spent 15 years managing kitchens and restaurants before returning to the CIA to receive a Level I certification in wine. From fine dining in Seattle to world class ski destinations, he is knowledgeable in many different styles of cuisine. He specializes in all levels of restaurant and kitchen development, back-of-the-house design, vertical costing, recipe creation and usage ideas, as well as recruitment/staff training. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Chef Showers loves to work with seafood and seasonal ingredients.
