UPDATE: MIXED BERRIES

Raspberry and blackberry prices remain elevated; supplies are extremely limited.
Raspberries
- Recent cold, wet weather in the Oxnard and Baja growing regions have greatly reduced supplies
- Stocks will increase over the next 7 to 10 days as harvesting ramps up in Central Mexico
- Pricing will begin to decrease slowly as Central Mexican production increases
Blackberries
- Central Mexico is the primary growing region
- Low temperatures have reduced volume, which is normal for this time of year
- Tight supplies and strong markets are expected for the next two weeks
Blueberries
- The primary growing regions are Central Mexico and Chile
- Florida production is getting started in a light way; volume is expected to pick up over the next 10 to 14 days
- Southern California harvesting is anticipated to begin in a limited manner by late April/early May
- Prices are expected to inch up over the next 10 to 14 days as South American seasons begin to wind down
