Although temperatures are returning to seasonal norms this week, the unusual cold weather pattern at the end of February and first two weeks of March caused frost-related defects such as:

• Dehydration
• Epidermal Blistering
• Epidermal Peeling
• Yellowing Tips

Effective immediately, flyers will temporarily be placed in select Ready-Set-Serve cartons to communicate these quality struggles. 

The RSS products below will have flyers placed immediately:

• RSS Washed & Trimmed Green Leaf and Green Leaf Fillets 2/5#
• RSS Washed & Trimmed Romaine and Romaine Fillets 2/5#
• RSS Chopped Romaine 6/2#
• RSS Chopped Romaine/Spring Mix Blend 4/2#
• RSS 50/50 Romaine/Iceberg Blend 4/5#

The items below may have flyers inserted depending on further inspections:

• RSS Arugula
• RSS Baby Kale
• RSS Heritage Blend
• RSS Baby Spinach and RSS Triple-Washed Spinach
• RSS Spring Mix
